MBSH BI-WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Sharing events, career opportunities, and your milestones with the MBSH community
We hope this message finds you well. It was great to see many of you at the MBSH Thriving in Grad School panel discussion a couple of nights ago! In addition, we had our first “coffee and cookies” gathering a couple of weeks ago, and it was nice to talk with some of you and hear about your graduate school experiences thus far. Our next “coffee and Insomnia cookies” gathering will take place on Monday, November 7th from 4 – 5 PM at the Harold Amos Graduate Student Lounge, TMEC Room 442. Take a break from lab or studying and join Dr. Sheila Thomas and Dr. Karina Gonzalez for office hours and some refreshments! We also want to hear from you about events or professional development opportunities that you would like to see take place.
We hope this message finds you well. Sheila and I can imagine that regardless of your political opinions, the rhetoric of this very long campaign and the outcome of the presidential election may leave many of you feeling uncomfortable, nervous, and anxious. We want you to know that we value and treasure everyone’s contribution and the diversity that you bring to Harvard and we are here to support you in your endeavors. If you are looking for a space to share your feelings openly and honestly we hope you will join the conversation at the next “coffee andInsomnia cookies” gathering to a conversation about the election. Please join us on Monday, November 21st from 4 – 5 PM in the Harold Amos Graduate Student Lounge, TMEC Room 442.
